Civil Engineer: Site Development

Engineer: Site Department

Commonwealth Engineers & Consultants, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual with between 2 and 20 years of experience to join our Site Development Design Group. This individual would have the opportunity to learn and participate in all aspects of site development design, including but certainly not limited to preliminary/final design, detailing with AutoCAD, specification development, contract document compilation, and coordination with other disciplines to ensure the successful completion of each project. Minimum Qualifications: BS degree in Civil Engineering, experience with AutoCAD, good writing skills, and a strong work ethic. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Depending on experience applicant will be a project manager or work under a project manager

• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates of various development projects.

• Assist in the preparation of State Agency Permit Applications, typically:

RIDEM Freshwater Wetlands

RIDEM RIPDES

RIDEM OWTS

RIDOT PAPA

CRMC

Skills & Abilities:

• Efficient at AutoCAD or willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or EIT in Civil Engineering

• RIDEM Licensed OWTS Designer a plus, not required

• RIDEM Licensed Soil Evaluator a plus, not required
